New Smyrna Beach
FLAUNT Vehicles

I knew I had found one of those places, a business with Eco-awareness, run by locals that had a vision to carry it out.
During Beach week 2017 hosted by Pro Surfer Shea Lopez, I met Kevin Mount the owner of FLAUNT Vehicles in New Smyrna Beach.
Kevin has grasped the concept and evolution of the Eco-friendly local business shop.
They currently feature 2 models of an e-Bike that you can go up to 20 mph on for about 40 mpc The bike only takes 4 hours to completely recharge a battery.  American ingenuity and entrepreneurship at its best. It is a movement which is taking root in communities and cities all over the country.“Benjamin Franklin” anyone.

The e-Bikes are sturdy and have some great features.
The one that got my attention on our ride was the
pedal assist option. As an avid outdoors-man and gymnast in my early years I had done some damage to my knees and hadn't been on a bicycle in many years.
Getting on one of the e-Bikes I was a bit apprehensive, but as the saying goes, “It’s like riding a Bicycle”

The first word that came to mind was exhilarating and the pedal assist took the fears of bike riding away. You absolutely feel free to resume this great activity which is both helpful for your health and environmentally friendly.

FLAUNT Vehicles has a business model that includes renting their bikes, they sell and service them as well. At a cost of just around $1,700.00 they are an affordable way of getting around town without having to go to the gas station.
FLAUNT Vehicles also provides an Eco e-Bike Tour around the City of New Smyrna Beach. It includes a ride from their shop over to the beach through town. As you ride your guide will point out historical places and cool facts. You can also go through a pretty cool off trail ride.

New Smyrna Beach is only a 20 minute ride from Daytona Beach and is a must see and do location when vacationing. It is home now too many trendy and up-and-coming small businesses and restaurants. FLAUNT Vehicles e-Bikes is a great way to tour this quaint Beach-side City.
Should you want a tour in Ormond or Daytona call Kevin he is sure to accommodate your group's needs. Located in New Smyrna just off Canal Street their first sale was in June 2016 after 3 years of R&D. They created a unique company that is Eco-friendly and fits our definition of What’s Behind Daytona
