In addition to the band's last three albums which were released on eOne, the Company has licensed the following titles: Sonic Brew, Stronger Than Death, 1919 Eternal, The Blessed Hellride, Hangover Music Vol. VI, Mafia, and Shot to Hell. Fans can expect these titles in never-before-released formats over the next few years. eOne’s Scott Givens, SVP, Rock, Music, says, “I’m delighted to expand our partnership with Zakk and Black Label Society to now include all his amazing earlier work." Black Label Society has also announced their "20 Years of Sonic Brewtality Tour," a brand-new batch of 2019 North American tour dates in conjunction with the release of a new, reimagined version of the band’s iconic 1999 debut LP, Sonic Brew, on May 17, 2019 titled Sonic Brew - 20th Anniversary Blend 5.99 - 5.19, original formula with enhanced flavor. “The original recording back in 1997 was mastered with high volume, alcohol, and dance," says Wylde from his home studio. “We went in and worked off the existing performances and focused on the high volume and dance while replacing the booze with viagra and anabolic steroids.” The new re-blended version of Sonic Brew will feature two new bonus tracks, a full band/piano version of“Spoke In The Wheel” and an acoustic version of “Black Pearl.” Wylde continues, although we wish he would stop, “I wanted to re-blend and re-choreograph this release to be the most brewtal and dance-tactic album since Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive” dominated the dance floor at Studio 54!” The band will play two shows in each market - the first night will feature Sonic Brew played in its entirety, while the second night will see the band play a set of greatest hits. Support will come from Conan and The Atomic Bitchwax. Black Label Society will also participate in U.S festivals Sonic Temple, Epicenter, and Welcome to Rockville on this run. Dates begin April 24 at The Oriental Theater in Denver and wrap up in Los Angeles at the famous El Rey Theater for two nights ending on May 23. Tickets are on sale this Friday, February 1, 2019. Sonic Brew was initially released in Japan on October 28, 1998, and contained 13 tracks and a free Zakk Wylde guitar pick. The album was subsequently released in North America on May 4, 1999, with three bonus tracks including a cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s “No More Tears,” recorded with bassist Mike Inez of Alice in Chains.

January 2019 Orlando Florida Thirst Debuts at House of Blues Orlando Friday night, newcomers, Thirst, made their much-awaited debut at the Orlando House of Blues to the excitement of eager fans. The band, with firm roots in grunge, provided an exciting stage show with superior presence and musicianship. They more than made "good" on the promises that have been popping up on their Facebook page for a few months as of late in the form of 'teaser' music videos! Thirst is comprised of Clayton Sturgeon & Ryan Salamone (also Known as Ryno Sally Sal), who are both already part of one of the most respected and widely known Nirvana tribute bands, Nirvanna. They have been members of many local Central Florida bands and Clayton has a successful solo acoustic act that is seen and followed at multiple venues in Volusia County. Rounding out the Thirst musical threesome is a well-known and extremely talented drummer, Will Hunt. He is currently drumming for the band Evanescence but has, and still does, lend his hard-hitting beats to multiple other bands as time allows. He has played for such powerhouses as Black Label Society, Staind, and Staic X. We are excited to hear this new music hitting the scene and await airplay on the radio one day as they are due to release an album soon, details to come .......... Thirst and Nirvanna is excited to announce they will be headlining a 2-week tour of Italy in March! The band will have songs played on virgin radio in Italy in March as well. Behind Daytona By Jeff Stolowitz January 4, 2019 Mäi Tatro and her Band Moonlight Drive-In headlined at Main Street Station this week for the Venerable and famous $1.00 Beer Bike Night. Many Musicians and Bands have taken the stage here, not many of them have made this kind of impression. The crowd was stunned. Song after song in 3 sets they just slayed the Biker crowd. Mai Tatro's stage presence is overwhelming as she playfully flirts with the crowd flipping her hair and using her eyes to draw them into to the music. Gregory Davidson with his guitar is rock steady alongside the Bass and Drums of Greyson Belcher and Shane Hager. The Bands Alternative style of Rock reflects a cross over, a little Hippie, a Little Punk, a Tad Hipster and they know how to pay homage to those who came before. They are currently working on an Record to be released sometime this year. While I followed Mai from the time she was 14 playing gigs solo in restaurants free, she has now grown up Rock Star style and she works hard at it still. Mai is now booked around the area and she plays at The Shores Resort and Spa and at Off The Hook at Inlet Harbor. The whole band will be performing at Main Street Station multiple nights. If you missed them this past week I suggest checking the calendar and seeing them before it costs you $50.00 a Ticket. Main Street Station 316 Main Street Daytona Beach, Fl 32118 |
