Announces its 2018 Summer Youth Basketball Camp

The City of Daytona Beach Cultural & Leisure Services Department proudly announces its 2018 Summer Youth Basketball Camp for boys and girls ages 8 to 14. The camp features individual instruction, a 3-on-3 tournament, and a camp basketball-shooting championship, and highlights include camp T-shirts, official-sized basketballs, and certificates and/or prizes.
Children will focus on exploring the fundamentals of basketball, such as defense, shooting, passing, and proper form. The “Skillz and Drillz” basketball camp will be taught by former Stetson University athlete, Bethune Cookman University graduate, and Founder of Baldy Athletics Inc., Mr. Terry Johnson, and by Mr. Stacey Beckton, former Bethune Cookman University collegiate coach.
Camp registration is open now through June 15th at Daytona Beach City Hall, 301 S. Ridgwood Ave., Room #165. Program fee is $125.00 per person. The camp runs from July 16th through July 20th, 2018 and is open from 5:30pm to 9:00pm daily.
